The 20 minute TTL is default with self update

The default of 20 minutes - set by DWORD named DefaultRegistrationTTL in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters (the value should be in seconds). A reboot or ipconfig /registerdns.
